My time as a volunteer at the Safe Haven was a truly special experience. I cared for the animals with my heart and soul, supported and guided them, and took them to the vet when necessary. The team is incredibly warm and involved, and from day one, I truly felt part of something valuable. Of course, there were moments when I had to adapt to different working methods and mentalities, but that only made the experience more educational. This time was not just a beautiful memory, but it has also shaped me and stayed with me.
